King James seeks return of clutch self in Game 6

Miami Heat superstar forward Lebron "King" James seeks to repair his damaged clutch reputation in Game 6 of NBA Finals on Sunday evening.

The National Basketball Association Eastern Conference champion Miami Heat is just a loss away from being beaten for the championship crown in the current NBA season by the Western Conference champion Dallas Mavericks.

Down 3-2 in its best of of seven NBA championship series, the Heat hopes to find its groove back when they face the Mavericks in the crucial Game 6 of their match at the American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida.One superstar player also hoping to find his scoring and clutch ways back is Heat superstar forward Lebron “King” James whose performance in the past three games of the series is way below his average and his capabilities.

In the recent two straight losses by the Heat to the Mavericks in Games 4 and 5, James had been heavily criticised by the media for his failure to deliver for his team especially in the fourth quarter.Many are saying, James’ moniker that he is “King” due to his awesome basketball talent is not correct since he collapses during the important moment of their NBA Finals games, the fourth quarter.

The criticism grew even louder in Game 4 when the usual double scoring James was held to only eight points by the Mavericks, which lead to the defeat of his team.Now that the world especially those haters of the Heat are feasting on his lacklustre performance in his team’s recent defeats, James hopes to find his old self so that he can bring his team to victory now that the game shifts back to their home-floor.

James himself admitted his poor play in the past three games of his team and he vowed to play much better and be more aggressive for his team in the all-important Game 6.The NBA superstar said he and the rest of the Heat team needs to give it their all so that they can have the chance to extend their series to a deciding Game 7, which still be held on their home-floor.”Now that the next two games will be held in Miami, I hope to find my groove back for the team,” James said.

Amids the mounting criticism on his NBA Finals dismal performance, James remain composed and confident saying he do not care what people think since what matters for him is to bring his team to the NBA championship this year.

Before his NBA Finals slump, James had a colorful resume in his NBA career.James was taken with the number one pick in the 2003 NBA Draft by the Cleveland Cavaliers and signed a shoe contract with Nike before his professional debut.Listed as a small forward, James has set numerous youngest player records since joining the league.

He was named the NBA Rookie of the Year in 2003–04, was named the NBA Most Valuable Player in 2008–09 and 2009–10, and has been both an All-NBA selection and an All-Star every season since 2005.In 2010, a much-publicized free agency process ended with James signing with the Miami Heat.
