  • No NBA title but NBA superstar Dwayne Wade Remains Happy These Days

    The Miami Heat might have failed in their quest to capture their second National Basketball Association crown this year, but superstar guard Dwayne Wade remains happy these days because of his family and children.

    Wade said he and the rest of the team are very sad with their defeat to the hands of the Dallas Mavericks, but at the end of the day he realized that losing is part of life and you just have to deal with it and moved on. He revealed that the pain of losing still remains, which drove him to skip watching basketball television programs to avoid seeing replays of the just concluded NBA Finals between the Heat and Mavericks.

    The NBA superstar said while he undergoes healing from their painful defeat, he spends quality time with his two sons, aged nine and four years old. The superstar guard said when the court decided to give him full custody to his two children, after his recent divorced with his wife, he is one of the happiest person on earth.

    Wade said when the court decision was rendered on his favor with regards to the custody of their children, he immediately took time from his busy schedule to spend quality time with his children. “Every time, every morning, every night, I look into my boys’ eyes I’m proud, and I see the future,” Wade said.

    “I see what they can learn from me and what they can learn from the world,” Wade added. Wade said being a father change him a lot and made him appreciate things even more.”I just try to make sure that their lives are in a better position than mine will be or ever was, and to understand how hard it is,” he said.

    The basketball superstar said to make sure his kids will grew up to be good citizens in the society, he always finds time to talk to them and tell them that they got a friend in him. Wade revealed he and the children also spend time quality together by playing, going to parks and eating ice cream.

    He said one important thing he learned from his mother about fatherhood is to always tell your children how much you love them and are very proud to have them in your life. “Always hug your kids, always tell your kids you love them, and always tell your kids that you’re proud of them, because that goes a long way,” he said.

    “Because we don’t hear people say it enough and they don’t hear it enough,” he added said. The basketball superstar said what matters most to him now is his family and children, the treasures that he would cherish the rest of his life.
