Everyone has bad hair days which all the make up in the world or the chicest outfits cannot cover.
Keeping up with current hairstyle trends can help you walk with your head held high despite wearing drab or out of season outfits.

If you are one of the fashion conscious individuals; here are a couple of trends to help you dress up your hair this season.

To start you off, on the path of hair salvation, get a splash of color on your hair. Nothing livens up an overall look than a great new hair color coupled with trendy hair styles. The good news is that you can settle for any color you see fit.

When it comes to selecting hair color; go with a color which complements your skin tone.  A complementing color will help your face pop out and show off your good facial features. If you are not so sure about changing your hair color entirely; give your hair streaks of color. Red hair and white blonde are popular hair colors this season.

A great hair color is not complete without a good hair cut to complete the look. Bangs are back as a favorite this year and so are pixie cuts.

The shape of your face should be an important factor when settling for a cut style.

Once you get the color and cut down, the next step is to select trendy hairstyles to help you hide a bad outfit day.

The selection of a good hairstyle is likewise determined by the shape of your face.

If you have a round face, hairstyles which elongate and give an illusion of slimness will work best for you. An oval shaped face should be shown off to the world with tied up or back hairstyles.

The hairstyles which have made it to the top this season include; the low and bird’s nest bun, half braided hair and the braided topknot as well as the double knot. The double knot helps to tie up long hair.
Braided knots are either held up or halfway going to the back of the head. The buns tie the hair back away from the face or up in likeness to a bird’s nest. There you have it. These are some of the trendiest styles this season to help you dress up your hair.
