Will Christina Hendricks Be The Next Wonder Woman?

Christina Hendricks is one of the Hollywood starlets who starting to put their name to the top. Jumping from small screen roles to the big one. It is said that if she work her next movie with high efficiency, there is a big possibility she would be the next the big thing on Hollywood.

She will soon will be seen alongside Carrey Mulligan and Ryan Gosling in the movie “Drive” Nicolas a Winding Refn-directed film featuring Gosling, a Hollywood stuntman who works as a robbery getaway driver by night, with Mulligan playing an autobody repairs shop customer who sets one night’s run on a very diverted path.

The trailer of the movie won an award at Cannes, and would be shown on September 23rd, and its trailer hits the Word Wide Web. It seems like a winner, if, Hendricks and Refn work together.

Last 2010, rumors spread out that Christina Hendricks would play the role of Wonder Woman for the David Kelley produced film; Christina Hendricks denied it, but she’d be all for it.

“I heard that rumor too – I don’t know where it got started but I love it!,” she told Rachel Ray in December ”I’ve been wanting to wear that outfit my whole life! I’d love to do it. That would be such fun! Let’s put it out there!”

Unfortunately, Hendricks didn’t get the role, that role was bestowed to Adrienne Palicki; later on the show failed.That’s were Refn meddled in.

The director of “Logan’s Run” who’s working with Ryan Gosling has stated previously that he would like to produce a big screen film of Wonder Woman and he wants Christina Hendricks to play the role.

“She’s mature, which I think Wonder Woman has to be, because it’s a very complex character,” he told the website. “You know, the whole Wonder Woman concept is ‘What if women were more powerful than men?’ And I certainly can’t come up with a more ideal choice to play that, both consciously because she’s very smart but also because of her sensibility and her physicality … so for me, she’s the perfect choice because she has so much sensibility and sexuality, but it’s true sexuality.”

Currently, Christina Hendricks is doing a film called “Struck by Lightning”.
