Interpol Arrest 23 Anonymous Hackers

The intensified crackdown against the deadly hacking group Anonymous hacking movement yielded another positive result.
Twenty five alleged members of the group were recently arrested by the international police in their operations across Europe and South America. The Interpol revealed they arrested alleged hackers in Argentina, Chile, Colombia and Spain.
The police said the arrested hackers are as young as 17 years old to 40 years old. The arrest came after their thorough investigation which started in the mid-February that lead to the arrest of the suspects and confiscation of 250 items of IT equipment and mobile phones in their operation on 40 premises in 15 cities.
To serve as lesson to other would be hackers, the police already filed criminal charges against the busted suspects. According to reports, if convicted to their crime, the hackers could serve 541 days to five years in jail.
