12. March 2012
The prolific play-making ways of fast rising National Basketball Association star Jeremy Lin could soon end in New York City.
This developed after the New York Knicks has welcomed a new head coach after the resignation of Mike D’Antoni. Former Atlanta Hawks top bench tactician Mike Woodson is the interim coach of the Knicks after the departure of D’Antoni.
Sources said now that Woodson is taking charge for the Knicks, it could also mean less minutes for Lin and worse would even lead to his departure as starting point-guard of the team. Woodson reportedlty favor a deliberate half-court offence which is not suited to the fastbreaking and free-wheeling offence Lin.
The new head coach is reportedly more keen in givig more minutes to veteran NBA point-guard Baron Davis who is morer reliable in half-court offences. The fans of Lin for their part the report is not true so that they can continue to see Lin showcased his skills on the basketball court.
