A recent medical study conducted by America researchers has shown that going on saunas on a regular basis could lomer the sperm count among men. The researchers said based on the study they made on Finnish men in their 30s they found out that their sperm count is low due to their sauna visits.
The researchers said most men in Finland go to saunas on a regular basis due to the many precense of many saunas in their country. The researchers said the intense heat inside saunas affect sperm production in men. They said aside from low sperm count, the sperm quality is also affected due to a regular sauna lifestyle.
They added that they also observed that many couples have a hard time concieving in countries where many saunas can be found. In view of the result of the study,medical advocates called on people to reduce their sauna visits especially men for the sake of their sperm. Based on internet facts, a sauna is a small room or house designed as a place to experience dry or wet heat sessions, or an establishment with one or more of these and auxiliary facilities.
According to reports, a sauna session can be a social affair in which the participants disrobe and sit or recline in temperatures typically between 70 °C (158 °F) and 100 °C (212 °F). Sources said this induces relaxation and promotes sweating. Sauna experts revealed that saunas can be divided into two basic styles: conventional saunas that warm the air or infrared saunas that warm objects.
The experts said infrared saunas may use various materials in their heating area such as charcoal, active carbon fibers, and other materials.
