    Lowly Phoenix Suns Beat NBA Leading San Antonio Spurs 105-101

    Just like in real life, the ball is round and anything can happen in the National Basketball Association.

    The struggling Phoenix Suns with a lowly 20-39 win-loss record surprisingly defeated the NBA leading San Antonio Spurs 105-101 at the home-floor of the latter. Playing loose with nothing to lose and everything to gain, the Suns played like a well oiled machine and defeated the veteran laden Spurs team in San Antonio.

    Suns veteran center Jermaine O’Neal took charge in scoring for the visiting Suns in their win with a magnificent 22 points and 13 rebounds performance. The guard of the Suns Wesley Johnson played hero for his team to force overtime with a 3-pointer at the end of regulation.     A recent study has shown that taking time to stand up from your desk and talk to a colleague a few times a day may be all that is required to prevent type 2 diabetes. The researchers explained people at high risk of suffering from diabetes could avoid such grim condition by cutting the time they spent sitting down by 90 minutes every day.

    The researchers said avoiding too much being sedentary is an effective way to defeat type two diabetes. According to reports, type 2 diabetes mostly affects middle-aged people and occurs when the body gradually loses the ability to process blood sugar, leading to high levels which can damage body organs and years of ill-health.

    Type two diabetes usually occurs due to obesity and living a sedentary or less movement lifestyle along with an unhealthy diet. The researchers said sitting for more than four hours a day are at greater risk of chronic illnesses such as diabetes and heart disease.     According to reports, Madonnas has been crowned as the top earning singer for 2012 by the prestigious Billboard magazine. Madonna reportedly earned $34.6 million the past year to lead the pack on Billboard Magazine’s annual list of 40 top money makers.

    Billboard said Madonna earned most of her money from her worldwide concert tours the past year. The second spot in the prestigious list is American superstar rocker Bruce Springsteen whose $33.4 million revenue was also primarily driven by touring, playing to sold-out stadiums and arenas.     The North Korean government has recently issued a stern warning to the United States not to proceed with its routine joint military drills with ally South Korea next month. North Korea said the US and its ally South Korea will face “miserable destruction” if they proceed with their Key Resolve and Foal Eagle exercises.

    The communist government said such a drill is a practice to invade their country which is a form of aggression on the part of the US and South Korea. Pak Rim Su, a North Korean military officer said the drills is reckless on the pat of the US and South Korea.
