United States president Barrack Obama has more reasons to smile these days.
A recently discovered new species of fish has been named after him by the researchers who found it. According to reports, the freshwater fish has a unique bright orange and blue colors features and usually found in the fast-flowing rivers around America. Sources said the fish named after Obama was called darter, considered as the smallest member of the perch family.
It was learned that the president is one of the four presidents to have newly discovered fish named after them. Based on internet facts, the the remaining four species have been named after three other presidents and one vice-president. The tiny fish which is normally under 50mm in length have been discovered earlier by researchers from Geosyntec Consultants and Saint Louis University in waters in Arkansas, Kansas, Kentucky, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Tennessee.
