A recent medical research has shown that persons who own cars and television are facing high risk of suffering from a heart attack. According to a study conducted on 29,000 people from 52 countries, it was discovered that car and television owners are 27 percent more likely to suffer from a heart attack compared to other people.

The researchers said car and television owners are more likely to suffer heart attacks since most of them live a sedentary life or spend more of their time seating doing nothing. The researchers hoped the result of their study will inspire car and television owners to spend some of their time doing any form of exercise.

It was learned that one of the best antidote against heart attacks is doing a regular exercise and eating healthy foods. Well, if you happen to be a car and television owner, I guess it is now the right time for you to live a healthy lifestyle.

Toyota Orders Recall Of 550,000 Defective Cars

Car manufacturing giant Toyota is the latest company to order the recall of some of its units due to some defects.

According to reports, Toyota ordered back to its factories, 550,000 cars around the world due to some steering problems. Based on the data released by Toyota corporation, 447,000 vehicles in North America along with 38,000 in Japan and another 25,000 in Australia and New Zealand are set to return to the main factory of Toyota in Japan.

Toyota spokesman Dion Corbett revealed in Europe some 14,000 vehicles are also being recalled along with 10,000 in the Middle East and 14,000 in Asia outside Japan. Corbett explained since 2007, the company recieved a total of 79 reports regarding the defect.

Corbett added luckily, no one was reported injured or killed due to the steering defect. The latest report, came after the company recently revealed that its July-September profit has lowered down to 18.5 percent to 80.4 billion yen ($1 billion) on plunging sales caused by parts shortages from the tsunami disaster in northeastern Japan.

Moreover, the company said the latest recall is due to the possibility that the outer ring of the engine’s crankshaft pulley may become misaligned with the inner ring, causing noise or a warning signal to light up, the company’s U.S. sales unit. Toyota was founded by Kiichiro Toyoda in 1937 as a spin-off from his father’s company Toyota Industries to create automobiles.

Three years earlier, in 1934, while still a department of Toyota Industries, it created its first product, the Type A engine, and, in 1936, its first passenger car, the Toyota AA. Toyota Motor Corporation group companies are Toyota (including the Scion brand), Lexus, Daihatsu and Hino Motors, along with several “non-automotive” companies. TMC is part of the Toyota Group, one of the largest conglomerates in the world.

The luxurious van really offers comfort to the Single Ladies singer since it has an engine that is big enough to power a large lorry but has the soft drive of a limousine. The monster van also has a full bathroom with a shower, sink and toilet.

The vehicle also has an Italian leather seats installed in cream with chestnut lining. The husband of Beyonce R&B superstar Jay-Z also includes a $150,000 sound system and DirecTV and WiFi to make his wife more comfortable during her travel.

Moreover it was also learned that aside from the luxurious van, Beyonce and Jay-z also recently spent thousands of dollars converting around 2,200 square feet of their Tribeca, New York, apartment into a nursery. Nissan Remain Confident Despite Losing Profit In 3rd Quarter Of 2011

Automaker giant Nissan Motor Company remained optimistic despite the fact that the company’s profit profit in the third quarter has slipped to 4.3 percent in 2011.

Nissan officials said their profit might have dropped buy they are confident their earnings will be better by the end of th year. According to reports, Japan’s second leading vehicle maker i quite resilient as it successfully battled the strong yen and tsunami disaster which badly affected its rivals Honda Motor Co. and Mazda Motor Corp.

Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn said with their strong drive and efforts he is confident the company will have a good 2011. Ghosn revealed their profits in Europe, China and the United States are steadily growing.

He said if everything comes into place in the remaining months of 2011, he is confident Nissan will have a rosy 2011. The current market share of Nissan, along with Honda and Toyota, in American auto sales represent the largest of the automotive firms based in Asia that have been increasingly encroaching on the historically dominant US-based “Big Three” consisting of GM, Ford and Chrysler.

In its home market, Nissan became the second largest car manufacturer in 2011, surpassing Honda with Toyota still very much the dominant first. Along with its normal range of models, Nissan also produces a range of luxury models branded as Infiniti.
