The family of the late king of Pop Michael Jackson is not 100 percent happy with the four-year sentenced imposed by a Los Angeles court to Dr. Conrad Murray for the untimely death of the American singing superstar.

Katherine Jackson, the mother of the late King of Pop said she hoped that Murray will received the full eight years conviction for his crime, but was surprised when it was reduced to only four years. The elder Jackson said although she is not totally happy with the reduced penalty, she fully respects the judgment given by Judge Michael Pastor.

Aside from the mother, the brother of the late singing superstar, Jermaine Jackson is also not happy with the lower penalty given to Murray saying the latter deserved to suffer severe jail-time for his crime, Pastor earlier declare Murray, 58 guilty for negligence that lead to the death of Jackson. The judge said Murray is a ‘danger to the community’, for playing ‘Russian roulette’ with the singer and using him as an ‘experiment’.

He said the accused abandoned his patient that lead to the death of the superstar celebrity. According to reports, Murray was calm as the sentenced was read and even blew a kiss to his family and supporter outside the courtroom. Meanwhile, the countless fans of the late pop superstar expressed joy over the conviction of Murray saying justice has finally been served on the death of their idol.

To spend some precious moment with each other, British comedian Russell Brand and pop superstar Katy Perry have decided to spend some time together to a romantic getaway.

The getaway is a huge lift for the couple who had been working hard the past few weeks and had been away from each other for quite sometime. While is Brand shooting his film, Perry is going around the world for a series of show. The 35-year-old actor is very excited to spend some private moment with his wife.

Perry for her part is also excited to take time-off from her busy schedule and take a vacation with her husband. The vacation is also a relief for Brand who had been recently denied entry in Canada because of his criminal records.

According to reports, the planned concert of Brand was cancelled in Canada on Saturday. Canadian immigration authorities refused to allow Brand (who has previous drug convictions and run-ins with the law) from entering the country to perform for some 5,000 fans at a casino.

Before this incident, Brand was also denied entry in Japan early this year because of his criminal record.  Brand, a self-confessed former heroin addict, was arrested in 2001 and charged with criminal damage and indecent exposure when he stripped naked while covering the May Day protests for MTV.

A Spanish collector is planning to auction a newly discovered 8-mm version of a film which the collector allegedly claims a porn film of the late American bombshell Marilyn Monroe.

However, a Marilyn Monroe expert says that it can’t be Marilyn because the girl on the film was less feminine and considerably heavier.

“That’s not Marilyn. The chin is not the same, the lips are not the same, the teeth are not the same,” said Scott Fortner, who has a sizable collection of Monroe memorabilia, including a belt he said proves how much more petite she was. “Marilyn was a tiny little thing. And I know that for a fact. I own her clothing.”

Collector Mikel Barsa told in an interview that he wants at least $500,000 for the film, which he says was made before Marilyn Monroe becomes 21. He also said that the film he holds was the exact and original copy which was discovered decades ago. Barsa brokered a sale of that film to a European magazine in 1997, which he said in turn sold some 600,000 copies before a collector bought the original 16-mm reel for $1.2 million. Copies of that version are still circulating on the Internet.

“People with romantic notions have denied that it’s Marilyn Monroe, and have invented stories” to raise doubts about the film, Barsa said in his Buenos Aires office, which is lined with pictures from his days as a concert promoter. “This film shows the real Marilyn Monroe – it was only later that the studios discovered her and transformed her.”

The girl’s face on the film was relatively different from Marilyn Monroe who emerged star later, but similar to Monroe seen on her first movies, 1949′s “Love Happy” which depicts the actress before she lost her weight.

The collector didn’t know how the two original copies was ended up in the hands of people who wanted help selling them, and he turn down to identify the two. He also said that way back 1940′s were made often side-by-side 16-mm and 8-mm camera, because most audiences are this format.

Mark Roesler of Indianapolis-based CMG worldwide, threatened to sue Barsa after the earlier version was emerged in 1997. Barsa also said that the owners of the film didn’t come after they sold it to CMG.

Barsa is planning to put the film on auction on August 7 at the memorabilia fair which he organized at Buenas Aires, Argentina. 10th part of the sale is his.

Several scandals and sexually explicit films had already floating around Monroe for years now developing for a long time and unresolved debate.

“In the Marilyn community, people have debated this for years and years and for the most part it’s widely believed that this is not her,” Fortner said.

However, Fortner added Monroe’s physical appearance had changed a lot before she became a star — that she undergone in different plastic surgery, learned how to hold still her face differently in modelling schools. Fortner said that her mole moved from time to time.
