Losing someone we love to a painful death is a hard and painful situation to swallow.

But losing not just one but four of your loved ones to gun violence could make most of us bitter and angry. However for a mother who loses four of her children to gun violence in Chicago the painful situation did not illicit any form of anger or bitterness on her part. A recent study has shown that heavy drinking mothers could end up having liqour drinking children in the future. The researchers said parents should avoid drinking too much alcohol to relieve stress since doing so could make them less effective parents to their children. The researchers said parents should serve as role model to their children by making it a habit to avoid drinking too much alcohol or to drink moderately.

They said many children end up as drinkers since they saw their parents drinking too much alcohol. Health advocates for their part said parents should do their best to avoid drinking too many bottles of alcohol so that their children will not follow their bad vice. An emotional 30-year-old unemployed woman in South Carolina in the United States has admitted killing her two toddlers and left their body inside a car and thrown at a river.

Shaquan Duley pleaded guilty to charges he suffocated 2-year-old Devean and 18-month-old Ja’van, in August 2010. Aided by her lawyer, Duley admitted guilt to two counts of murder which could sentenced her to 60 years in jail. Read more »

Teen Mom Kills Intruder With A 12-Gauge Shotgun To Protect Son

Do not ever mess with an 18-year-old shot-gun wielding mother in Oklahoma City in the United States.

This was the sad lesson learned by a man who was shot dead by Sarah McKinley, for entering her padlocked house on New Year’s eve. McKinley said she was forced to shot dead Justin Martin, to protect her three-month old son from the suspect, who was carrying a hunting knife that day.

The young mother said she was left alone inside the house, with her young son since her husband had died a week earlier because of cancer. She defended that as a mother she had to take matters into her own hands, to ensure her son is safe from harm from the suspect.

The local police for their part said the fatal shooting is justified, since based on the law anyone has the right to protect themselves if ever an intruder wants to break inside their locked dwelling.

High School Hoop Star Dunked Over Own Mom In Dunk Contest

Dunking the ball is considered as one of the greatest moves in basketball.

It is always a treat to see someone carry a ball and dunked it over a hoop. A player who does a highlight or spectacular dunk is always a star in every basketball game.

Because of the huge popularity of dunk, a contest for the most creative and explosive dunks are being conducted around the world. Recently, in a midnight madness event in the United States, a high school player captured the heart and admiration of hoop fans who watched the event.

Wagner high school forward Josh Thompson won the dunk contest in the event after he produced a creative and jaw dropping dunk, that really brought the house down. The dunk which is now circulating around the world after it was shown in Youtube, is made even more awesome by the fact that Thompson leaped over his own mom to do the dunk.

Yes, Thompson took the risk to use his own mother in his dunk which luckily was done perfectly. For the risk he took and creativity, this dunk is a perfect 10 for me!
