    Most of us have read or heard about it. Kitenge is an African Garment is an African garment often worn by women wrapped around the chest or waist, over head as a head scarf or as a baby sling.

    Kitenge are almost similar to Kanga, only that their material is much thicker. Kenya, Uganda and Nigeria are African countries where Kitenge is worn. The Kitenge material is used by many fashion designers to make clothes for both men and women.

    Amazing and sexy outfits have been made from Kitenge. In Africa tradition, Kitenge is given as a gift to young women to wear and express their beauty. When women go to the beach often the Kitenge is wrapped around the bathing suit for modesty or to shield the cold air.

    The Loliondo Wonder

    Since biblical time, history has been replete with pastors and preachers and so called prophets, claim to do what modern science has been unable to do, heal the sick with the touch of hand, the wave of a hand or some seemingly mysterious action. For the past few months, the 76 years old Ambilikile Mwasapile a retired Lutheran priest has become the attention of the world.

    Ambilikile Mwasapile hails from Loliondo village in Tanzania and has lived there all his life. This old man is making a concoction that people claim to heal all ailments such as chronic diseases like Hiv/Aids, Cancer and Diabetes. This served concoction served by the retired priest, could be of two things; either the most anticipated medicine ever curing all ailments or the centre piece of the biggest scam to have hit Tanzania.

    Judging from the crowds that are heading to Loliondo to Ambilikile allegedly claims that it’s a God given cure, finding yet more testimonies supporting it.

    As weird as it seems, thousands have seen him and thousands more keep going to see him.

    Blueberries- They are sweet and have lots of Vitamin C. They are immune boosting antioxidants that stimulate collagen production to help keen smooth and supple.

    Pumpkin seeds- They have lots of Vitamin E which helps to slow down skin aging.

    Beans- Have high in protein and provide the fatty acids your nails need to stay strong.

    Green tea- It hydrates you which helps your skin .It also protects the skin from sun damages.

    Tomatoes- They are full of fiber and Vitamin A. They help protect the skin from UV stress.

    Oranges- Rich in Vitamin C, which helps the skin look young and plump.

    Taking Omega-3 and its supplements is good for your skin.

    After eating all these food, your skin will become beautiful for everyone to notice. Remember that who you are is what you eat.

    The supermodel Kate Moss is planning to have another baby. Kate Moss has a daughter, Lila Grace Moss with Dazed &Confused editor Jefferson Hack. Moss has also been involved romantically with former libertines member Pete Doherty.

    According to reports, although she is not yet married to fiancé James Hince, she wants another baby as soon as possible. Liable source say that the couple is trying all way possible to get pregnant. They also have an upcoming wedding that is due to happen on July.

    After the long process of their divorce, the former Governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger and his former wife Maria Shriver are definitely not looking towards reconciliation. Arnold has already commenced paying child support to the Kennedy heiress even before the divorce is over.

    “Even though Maria is a Kennedy, and has inherited a great deal of money from her parent’s estate since their deaths, she is taking the child support. Under California law she is entitled to the child support, once either one of them files for divorce. Maria and Arnold’s lawyers have been working on a divorce settlement but in the meantime Arnold is willingly paying the money to Maria.” He was quoted by a liable source.

    It looks like Arnold is a very responsible man or is he so eager to finalize his divorce.

    The beautiful musician Alicia keys looks amazing in her new photo shoot for the June 2011 issue of W magazine. Her photos were taken by Mario Sorrenti, Alicia looks sexy in her Alexander McQueen outfits as she poses showing off her crimson lips.

    “I just wanted to be who I was, which was like so many other girls I knew. We grew up in the city, had a hard edge and obstacles to overcome, but we were still young and beautiful. I didn’t want to be all dressed up, all made up — I wanted to be myself, which hadn’t been done before. I was a young girl with very strong ideas but no experience. I just knew that everything else I was doing was wrong — that all the suggestions weren’t what was in my mind, they weren’t what it was meant to be.” said Alicia.

    Kanga in recent times have joined the Fashion world. It has been used by professionals to make great sexy dresses and shorts for women.

    Designer Max Osterweis whose clothing line is more inspired by his several trips he took to Kenya.

    His collection features cotton skirts, tops, fitted blazers, shorts, twisty headscarves, bikini, and shift dresses in vibrant prints made from East African kangas (printed cotton fabric).

    Many of the prints are printed with Swahili aphorisms that were originally worn to send funny and educative messages to people.

    Supermodel Heidi Klum has finally launched a perfume. She said her fragrance Shine is luxurious and has an expensive smell. Klum has teamed up with Coty to create the fragrance, which will come out in September.

    “There are different moods that as a fragrance creator you can travel to. For my first one, I wanted what I felt my staple would be. I wanted it to be sensual and feminine, but still luxurious and expensive-smelling because I think there are so many perfumes out there that smell cheap and too sweet,” said the Project Runway hostess.

    I know most of you can’t wait to have the smell of Shine, so wait until September to purchase it.

    Wear make – up that best complements you.

    A perfect place for lovebirds

    A normal search for a romantic getaway or a honeymoon destination in East Africa is unlikely to yield Lake Rutundu on the Northern slopes of Mt. Kenya. A small crater lake high up on Mt. Kenya is where the engagement that led to the royal grand wedding between Prince William and Kate Middleton.

    The Lake is better accessed by a helicopter although a strong Land Cruiser will make it up there in about two and a half hours of winding bush drive that is interspersed cold breezes. There are two traditional built lodges which conspicuously stand a few metres from the lake. The cabins are wooden structured with a highly contemporary floor finish. From the outside, the dullness of natural materials would easily pass the lodge off as a poor man’s attempt at putting up a house.

    The beds are traditionally made, fixed on the ground with the bedding comfortably put on strong ropes and straps. The sitting room is immaculately arranged with pieces of African art donning it while the kitchen is well stocked with African ware. The master bed is positioned near the balcony and one can clearly see the breathtaking view of the lake and green hills on the mountain.

    You also have an incredible view of the open tundra with some unique local flora and fauna. Bigger game like buffalo, leopard and zebra can also be seen. This place is also famous for trout fishing and you have to use a rowing boat to be able to fish.

    Prince William is a grandson of Queen Elizabeth, the first son of Prince Charles and the late Diana, the Princess of Wales. A day off to trail just why the Prince chose this Part of the world to pose one of the men’s difficult and restrained questions discovered a haven that is likely to host a lot more celebrity lovebirds.

    Lake Rutundu is an amazing place to visit and has beautiful scenes that will take your breath away.
