Meryl Streep poses on the cover of Vogue Magazine for its January 2012 issue. The legendary actress shares about her latest film The Iron Lady and more.

She shares about her role as Margaret Thatcher.  She says, “With any character I play, where she is me is where I meet her. It’s very easy to set people at arm’s length and judge them. Yes, you can judge the policies and the actions and the shortcomings – but to live inside that body is another thing entirely. And it’s humbling on a certain level and infuriating, just like it is to live in your own body. Because you recognize your own failings, and I have no doubt that she recognized hers.”

She also talks about her feelings about the film.  She reveals“Because the material embedded in it is a lot of what I’ve been thinking about. The themes in the film, which I don’t feel like underlining, have interested me for a while. And you never see these subjects covered in films normally, and so that was very thrilling.”

And then Thursday came, and Friday came, and he did not ask me to the dance. And I had to call my mom to come get me.”

The popularity of Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen continue to rise this year.

Recently, the prestigious Vogue magazine declare the widely popular celebrity sisters as the best dressed sisters for 2011. Mark Holgate, Vogue Fashion News Director and Editor of the best dressed issue explained the choice of two sisters are no brainer since both have a good fashion sense.

Holgate said the sisters are superb stylist who create their own fashion by picking up clothes which they believe can make them look good. He said the sister do not depend on someone to tell them what kind of clothes to wear since they know what is cool at the moment and wear it at their own freewill.

“Look at what they’ve done with (their fashion labels) The Row and Elizabeth and James,” Holgate said. Moreover, Holgate said the sisters are legitimate fashion forces who will dominate global fashion for years to come.

The twins both have appeared in television and films since infancy. Since then, they have continued their celebrity through numerous television programs, films, interviews, as well as commercial endorsements. Although they look similar in appearance, they are genetically different fraternal twins.

Michelle talks about how she seems to be more comfortable in doing interviews today, “I feel like something has changed for me, but it’s a new change, so it’s going to be hard for me to describe. Maybe it has something to do with turning 30. I don’t feel as shy or nervous or self-conscious. I have more confidence that I can handle what life brings me. I don’t feel scared to have an idea and express it. I feel giddy about it because it’s a complete transformation. It’s like I’ve found my voice.”

She also shares about how she feels on playing a major role, “As soon as I finished the script [for My Week with Marilyn], I knew that I wanted to do it, and then I spent six months trying to talk myself out of it. But I always knew that I never really had a choice. I’ve started to believe that you get the piece of material that you were ready for.”
